Its Been Awile

Sorry its been so long since the last post, but Meg and I are realizing that once Patrick walking and "speed crawling" we spend more time chasing him than taking pictures and posting them.

Since the last post, we've been to Chicago to visit our friends Patrick and Keri Godon, and completed the remodel of the "office" in our house. We also found out that my company is going to be closing the manufacturing facility at my plant sometime next year, but for at least the time being, the design group, which I'm a part of, will be staying here. Then to top off that day, I hit a deer with my truck, and didn't even get any venison out of the deal. I also spent a week on the road looking at test machines in South Dakota and Minnesota.

After that, Patrick Robert was finally baptized. Unfortunately, the baptism took place during the 11:00 mass, which meant it overlapped "nap time" and "lunch time" neither of which happened on their normal routine. This lead to a very grumpy Patrick through much of the festivities, although the he did perk up when the congregation applauded to welcome him into the church.
